Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Met in arrivals and transferred to your lodge for your Pre-Safari briefing.

Transferred back to the airport for your flight to Katavi. This is big game territory and few others are here to disturb you. Your camp will be the perfect blend of everything you need and nothing you don't. Fly camping is also available if desired. Game drives, guided walks, sundowners by the fire.

This morning you transfer back to the airstrip for your onward flight to Mahale. From the airstrip you will boat on Lake Tanganyika to your camp. Chimp tracking in the mornings, with the remainder of the day for swimming, fishing, forest walks, sundowners on the beach.

This morning you will fly back to Arusha arriving in the afternoon. As time allows you will have a day use room to prepare for travel before your International flight out. Or you may want to consider adding some game viewing time before departing.

April and May are considered Low Season, while March and November through mid-December fall within High Season. All remaining dates are considered Peak Season.
